SSB Recruitment 2013 – 215 HC & SI Posts: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued notification against recruitment of 215 Head Constable and Sub Inspector Vacancies in the Sashastra Seema Bal a Central Armed Police Force under Ministry of Home Affairs. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 20-07-2013. SSB Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 215
Names of Posts:
1. Sub-Inspector (Pioneer): 29 Posts
2. Head Constable (Workshop):186 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 yrs and 25 years for post 2, upto 30 years for post 1. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 20-07-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering for SI post and Matriculation and Diploma/ ITI  in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering with valid driving license for HC post.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Accounts Officer, Frontier HQ SSB Patna, payable at SBI Patna.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Technical Test (Trade Test) and Final Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and Copies of all relevant certificates, to The Inspector General, Frontier HQ, SSB Patna Rukanpura House, Rukanpura, Beli Road, Dist Patna(Bihar) Pin-800014 on or before 20-07-2013.

Total No. of Vacancies: 766
Name of the Post:
1. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): 43 posts
2. Head Constable (Telecommunication): 632 posts
3. Constable (Telecommunication): 91 posts
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-25 years for Sr. No. 1 post & 18-23 years for Sr. No. 2 & 3 posts as on 20-06-2013. There will be relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC (i. e. 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent for Sr. No. 1 post, Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics for Sr. No. 2 post & Matriculation or equivalent with Science from a recognized Board/Institute or equivalent for Sr. No. 3 post.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay ` 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ, Lucknow,” payable at SBI Branch, Lucknow (UP)”. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Tests (PST), Written Exam and Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in) complete in all respect along with Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed format as shown in the notification. The application shall be typed on one side only in full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed, application fee, attested copies of age, caste, educational, technical, experience, DD, PWD Certificates, Two self addressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with 25/- postage stamps must be sent to the Inspector General, Frontier Hq, SSB Lucknow, Sankalp Bhawan, Vibhuti Khand, Plot No. TC/35-v-2, Gomati Nagar, Lucknow (UP) PIN: 226010 and the envelope containing Application must be subscribed in bold letters as “Application for the Post of (Name of Post for Which Applied for with Post Code) In Sashastra Seema Bal” so as to reach to the addressee on or before 20-06-2013.
