National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) has issued
notification against recruitment of 86 Scientist , Technician, Staff
Nurse, Technical Asst, Accounts Asst, LDC Vacancies for Model Dots
Project. Eligible candidates may attend for walk in from 27-05-2013 to

Age limit: Candidates
age must not exceed 35 years for Sr. No. 1, 2, 10 posts, 30 years for
Sr.No 3, 4, 7, 9 posts, 25 years for Sr No 11 post and 28 years for
remainig posts. Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates will be as
per Govt. of India norms.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess 10+2/ ITI/ DMLT/ Graduate/ MBBS/ Masters Degree
in relevant field with desired experience as per the post. For post
wise details refer to the notification.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft
drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai from any nationalized banks.
SC/ST (subject to production of caste certificate) and Women candidates
are exempted from payment of fees
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
How to Apply:
Candidates may download the prescribed application form and submit at
9.00 A.M at NIRT, Chennai on the date of interview and to attend the
tests and interview along with all original certificates for age,
qualification from Matriculation onwards and proof for certificates of
experience, caste certificate if any (for age relaxation), list of
publications etc with a colour passport size photograph and attested
copies of relevant certificates and DD at National Institute for
Research in Tuberculosis, No.1,Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetput, Chennai 600
031 between 27-05-2013 to 22-06-2013. For post wise interview date

issued notification for filling up of Scientist posts. Eligible
candidates can submit the application on or before 12-08-2013. More

Educational Qualification:
MBBS degree recognized by MCI/ MD degree in Medicine/ Pulmonology/
Pediatrics/ Community Medicine/ Chest Disease/ equivalent degree from a
recognized university with relevant experience.
Application Fee:
Candidates should have to pay Rs 100/- in any Nationalized Bank, payable
to the Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis,
Chennai. SC/ ST/ Women and Physically Handicapped candidates (PH) are
exempted from the application fee.
Selection Process: Short listed applicants are called for interview. Candidates are selected based on interview.
